Everesting #6 - Staircase of Sotteville sur Mer in Normandy
Sunday 20th June saw the 6th edition in Joris’ bid to conquer Everest in 2021.
The location? A beautiful staircase at Sotteville sur Mer in Normandy consisting of 228 stairs down to the beach (because who doesn’t love a good set of beach stairs?!)
Exposed to the elements Joris knew this one would be tough. With the memory of his injury in Verdun ever present in his mind Joris pushed through the challenge and the last 3 hours of rain to complete the 243 rep challenge in a solid time of 13h:23min! Proving that no matter what happens in life, you can always get back up and have another go.
